Super U Series® Pumps

The Super U Series® is Gorman-Rupp’s most efficient self-priming pump line, delivering up to 75% efficiency while maintaining solids-handling capabilities. Featuring a unique hydraulic design, a smooth volute casing, and a multi-vane impeller, these pumps reduce friction loss and drag, ensuring high performance and lower operating costs.

Designed for above-ground installation, the Super U Series® allows for safe and easy maintenance without confined space entry. Routine service can be performed using common hand tools, without disconnecting the piping. All Super U Series®  pumps can be coupled to a standard electric motor, eliminating the need for special motor parts.

Exclusive Gorman-Rupp Cartridge Seal Technology

Double-floating, self-aligning oil-lubricated mechanical seal with stationary and rotating face of silicon carbide or tungsten titanium carbide is designed for abrasive industrial applications. Fluorocarbon and PTFE elastomers are also available.

Quick-Change Rotating Assembly

Service shaft and bearings quickly by removing just four bolts.

Dual Bearing Protection

Sealed atmospheric barrier protects bearings, reducing maintenance and increasing lifespan.

SUPER U SERIES® VARIATIONS

Super U Series pumps are dimensionally interchangeable (suction and discharge dimensions) with Gorman-Rupp’s Super T Series® pump models. The removable coverplate with easy-grip handle provides quick and easy access to the pump’s interior for service or routine maintenance.
Gorman-Rupp Super U Series® pumps are available as basic units, ready for connection to power or flex-coupled or v-belt driven by an electric motor.
